GREGORY, David John - Suddenly in Brantford on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 in his 64th year. Beloved husband of the late Christine (nee Dubicki) 1999. Devoted and proud father of Michael and Peter Gregory. Loving son of Marion Gregory and the late Dr. John Gregory (1992). Dear brother of Gail Blackburn, uncle to Edward, Robin and their families and he will be missed by Uncle Wilf, cousins Libby, Cathy and John. Also survived by Christine's Family; Stella and Leon Dubicki, Henry and Kathryn Dubicki, Irene and Larry Leidal and their families. David will be dearly remembered by his close friend and companion Jane Barber. Mr. Gregory was a partner with Verity, Daboll, Gregory and Jones law firm; retiring in 1998 to become an adjudicator with the Ontario Rental Housing Tribunal and currently a Judge for Small Claims Courts. He served as past president of the Brant Law Association, the Brant Curling Club and the Brantford Scottish Rite Association. David was a Past Master of Brant Lodge #45, a member of St. John's Masonic Lodge #82 A.F.& A.M. and Mocha Shriners London. In his pastime he enjoyed golfing, curling and travelling. Friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 9 Waverley St. Brantford on Monday, February 1, 2010 at 11 am. Interment St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery. A Masonic Memorial Service will be held on Sunday evening at 6:45 under the auspices of St. John's Lodge #82 with parish prayers at 8:30 pm.As expressions of sympathy donations to Camp Trillium Rainbow Lake or the charity of your choice appreciated.
