Abe Iskander

I am saddened to report the passing of Abe Iskander on February 17th 2017. Marie noticed his name in an In Memorium section of Engineering Dimensions so I forwarded a note onto Abe hoping it was in error. Marie and I received the following note from Abe's son Chris this morning.

Hi Bob and Marie, this is Abe's son Chris.

I'm sorry to have to tell you that my father passed away on February 17th, after a 15-month battle with pancreatic cancer.  He died the way he lived: on his terms. He had been saying for a while that he was ready, and he didn't want to drag it out. He went peacefully, with the whole family by his side, and he felt no pain.

The family is doing well, bolstered by my father's strength, and by the overwhelming support we have been receiving from all sides. 

Again, I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news, and thank you for your concern and your support.
